In fighting germs, washing hands is the best preventive measures that you should make use of in your facility. Typically, in a facility, kids share toys, kids use the restroom and touch each other. With all of these, kids can pick up germs and can be infected as they touch their mouth, eyes or nose with their hands. So, you need to teach the kids under your facility to wash their hands regularly. In order to make sure that kids would love to wash their hands is by thinking of a creative way in washing hands; they can sing a song while washing hands. You have to teach them how to cover their mouth when they sneeze. And you need to let them wash their hands after sneezing.

You need to clean up your facility regularly. You have to free your facility from dust and dirt. Clean up the toys as well, especially that kids always touch these toys and some are being mouthed by younger kids. Wash all the surfaces on a daily basis. It is best to take the children outside if it has a good weather, since they can avoid germs when they are outside with fresh air.

When you are serving foods to the kids under your premises, you need to serve fruits and vegetables and foods with omega-3 since these are the foods that can naturally fight germs.

You have to let the kids under your care to have an afternoon nap since sleep is very important to little ones. So, you have to allocate time for them to sleep.
